I know this is pretty short notice, but we are going to meet at the park Friday night (10/23) at about 6:30 to put some decorations up.  If anyone has anything PINK they want to put up at the park, please bring it with you.  Melissa has purchased some streamers and balloons for us to put up.  Remember, this weekend is when Alvin Girls Softball is GOING PINK in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.  Please wear pink to the games on Saturday as well.

Also, we want to take a picture with AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE wearing PINK to submit to the paper.  If you bought a shirt last weekend, please wear it.  If not, please try and wear something pink.  My idea is to have the banner Melissa had made on the first row of a set of bleachers, and then have as many kids, players, coaches, parents, brothers/sisters, aunts/uncles, or anyone that can come out to be in the picture.  We could even have everyone on the basketball court and the photographer standing at the top of the bleachers taking the photo looking down a tad... I do not have a photographer lined up, so it won't quite be a professional photograph, but hopefully we'll be able to get something presentable to the paper...It also gets dark about that time, so we may even need to move to one of the fields or soccer field to get a better photograph under the lights.

We hope that each and everyone that is a part of our association will come out to help decorate the park and be in the photo.  We understand if people can't make it, but we would at least like to make sure everyone is aware of it... If you are able to come, PLEASE WEAR PINK!!!!!!
