Bathroom Key Update

Apparently the bathroom key on the candy cane was broken this week. Noone has come forward to let us know who did it. I've broken the bathroom key before, so I know it can happen. However, it is $50 for the city to replace it, which I paid for a couple of years ago.
We will not have a bathroom key on the candy cane for the remainder of the Fall Season. The Candy Cane has been misplaced several times and now it is broken. We will make every effort to have the bathrooms unlocked each day for your practices but please have your children use the bathroom before arriving at the park just in case. Football is still having practices most days and they usually unlock them because they are generally there before us.

If you use the candy cane to unlock the bathroom then please put it back immediately after you use it. Do not hold onto it thinking you are going to lock it back up. This is how it gets misplaced. This key is provided by the City of Alvin. We only have one and cannot get another without going though a lot of hassle.

Coaches - You should have a key that unlocks the score booths, which also unlocks the coaches booth on the side of the concession stand facing field 4. There is a piece of PVC about 6 inches long that we call the candy cane. It has several keys on there (most of them are no good anymore). The one that is good is the bathroom key. Feel free to get this key and unlock the bathrooms. But PLEASE remember to put this candy cane back once you are done with it. At this time, this is the only key we all have access to on a daily basis...
